Readworks.org  I know many of you use this, but it is worth listing, they have wonderful articles starting with beginning reading on up.  Create free account, assign articles for students to read, many have assignments as well. Students create a free account, make sure they are in the correct (STUDENT) account. They can sign in with Google account, to make it easy to remember.
